Overview
Martin works as a freelance camera operator, single shooter operator and combined sound recordist/boom operator. He has worked on short films, broadcast and corporate productions, and was most recently Production Sound Mixer for “The Last Screenwriter,” a major feature film which finished principal photography in February 2024.
Martin received an Honourable Mention from the Folkestone Film Festival in recognition of his technical work on the short film “The Throuple.”
Martin has his own equipment compliant with streaming and broadcast technical standards, based on the Blackmagic 6K Pro and Sony FX30 cameras, the SoundDevices MixPre II recorder and Sennheiser microphones. He can deliver a production-ready sound mix, complete with advanced noise reduction and equalisation to streamer and broadcast standards. Martin also captures Foley and ADR tracks on set for use in post production.
As a value-added service, Martin also provides a complete timecode solution based on the Deity digital clapperboard and timecode synchronisation devices. This significantly reduces time required for editing. Martin holds an OFCOM licence for wireless mic usage and carries full equipment and Public Liability insurance.
